I do - Tottenham Green Market

There is nothing better than a food market on the weekend. Am I right? When living in London, I always headed to the big markets like Borough which tend to get quite busy and packed on the weekends. So when I heard that there was the 'Tottenham Green market' 10 minutes walk from my house, I forced myself out of bed on Sunday morning and went along for some treats in the sunshine.

Those of you that visit North London, the market is about a 5 minute walk from Seven Sisters tube station and located on a big green. The market is fairly small, having around 20 stalls, all of them food or drink, in a nice quiet spot with a variety of delicious delights!

There is lots of different cuisines to try and taste, with things to eat there and then (trust me, you won't resist) as well as things to take home. They also have a quiz with a cash prize, so grab your snacks and rack your brains to win some money to spend on dessert!

The food is all locally sourced and from around the area, meaning if you get chatting to the chefs at a stall you like, you may find out where they sell their produce in the week (tip: the cheese stall does amazing cheese-making classes!) Going there on a sunny day is perfect as they sell homemade gelato and its surrounded by a park to sit in and laze your weekend away.

I recommend the Chorizo hash browns with the yummy smoked mayo from Muffin Man & Co (which are gluten free!) as my favourite as well as the amazingly smoky and spicy tacos on sale.

This market is ideal if you are in the area and you're after no queuing, lots of choice and local delights from North London. Everything comes in small tapas-type street food portions so arrive hungry and be sure to have lots of little bits from different stalls to try everything! They have a good choice of GF options as well as other things on sale and you can visit every Sunday from 11am- 4pm. For more information, click hereGM xo
