Located across the road from their restaurant 'The Banc' (which have yummy burgers and salads!) the owners decided to open a little cafe overlooking Downhills Park which is where we had brunch. The Location itself is perfect, a small but cosy open space with a balcony to catch the rays. They are open all day, serving sandwiches, drinks and brunches, so we thought we'd give it a go!
The brunches weren't anything out of the ordinary and I decided to go for a full english (Gluten free readers - they don't have any GF bread, but they will swap toast for hash browns, which is my eyes was a bonus!) but the service and sun made up for it.

Everything is homemade and has a family vibe - the staff are happy to cater to anything you wish and the whole cafe vibe is super relaxed. For me, it was a perfect morning treat in the sunshine before a Sunday in the park with Ice-creams. It is all about the location and on a sunny day has lovely views of the park and passers by - ideal for people watching. Because who doesn't like eating brunch on a sunny balcony watching cute dogs chase squirrels?!
